Draft email replies with AI but never auto-send
Skips automated senders, drafts a short reply into Gmail Drafts, and pings Slack for review. Sending stays out of the automation.

Goal: Have replies ready to review without risking an AI email going out unchecked. Setup: agents used in source: n8n; tools/MCPs stated: Gmail, Slack, Google Sheets. Steps: 1. Filter out automated senders (no-reply, notifications, mailer-daemon, calendar invites, receipts). 2. Skip threads you already replied to or that already have a draft. 3. Have the AI draft a short, professional reply and save it to Gmail Drafts. 4. Send a Slack ping with a one-line reason that the draft is ready. 5. Optionally log thread id, draft id, recipient, subject and reason to a Google Sheet. 6. Never wire the send action into the workflow. Rules: ask me before anything irreversible (sending, posting, paying, deleting); don’t invent data, results or tools I haven’t given you; tell me what you couldn’t verify.
